For more than 20 years, Oohh’s & Aahh’s has been serving up soulful comfort food that makes you feel right at home — with a flavor that keeps folks coming back for more. What started in 2003 as a tiny carryout spot on U Street in Washington, DC, has grown into a beloved local institution and a true taste of the city’s culture.

Today, Oohh’s & Aahh’s proudly serves four communities across the DMV:

U Street (DC) – our original take-out & delivery-only location, where it all began.

Georgia Avenue (DC) – our first full-service dine-in restaurant known for legendary brunches and bottomless mimosas.

Glebe Road (Alexandria, VA) – a virtual kitchen built for take-out, delivery, and catering convenience.

Fells Point (Baltimore, MD) – coming December 2025, a full-service restaurant bringing our classics — plus new seafood favorites — to Charm City.

Over the years, our dedication to flavor and community has earned us both love and recognition. We were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives back in 2010, honored in Washingtonian’s Best, awarded Best Mac & Cheese, and are the Official Restaurant Partner of the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s 2024–25 Season. And now, we’re hitting the big screen again — featured in the premiere episode of the brand-new series Everything on the Menu starring retired WWE Superstar Braun Strowman, airing October 24th, 2025.

As we continue to grow, our motivation stays the same: to share authentic soul food, unforgettable flavors, and that signature “Oohh’s & Aahh’s” experience with even more people. With another new Maryland location planned for late 2026/early 2027, the story is just getting started.
